Monica Gokhale is the owner and Director of Physio-Care Services. In addition to her administrative responsibilities and overseeing the daily operations of the clinic, she provides clinical care to clients as a registered physiotherapist. She has been a Registered Physiotherapist since 2001. Ms. Gokhale holds a Bachelor of Health Science degree in physiotherapy from McMaster University and an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in physiology from the University of Western Ontario. She has an ongoing interest in manual therapy and is currently working towards a degree in manipulative therapy. She has training in acupuncture and is working towards her certification (C.A.F.C.I.)
Since 2001, Monica has been working as a physiotherapist in the Long-Term Care field, in an outpatient OHIP clinic and at a private physiotherapy clinic. She also has experience working as a clinical coordinator in a busy, OHIP/private physiotherapy clinic. Her goals are to provide client-centered care with personalized treatment programs that ensure each client is pleased with their experience at the clinic. She takes pride in the successful clinical outcomes that her clients achieve.
Margaret graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy in 1997. She has provided physiotherapy treatment in a variety of settings such as community fitness centres, hospitals, and clinics, and has been a part of the Physio-Care Services team since 2005. She has expertise in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. She has training in vestibular rehabilitation, treatment of TMJ issues, therapeutic taping and treatment for different chronic pain conditions.
Primarily using her manual therapy skills and exercise prescription in her treatment plans, she has incorporated acupuncture since completing examinations in 1996 with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada. She provides evidence-based, individualized physiotherapy treatment for her clients, utilizing current research and outcome measures in combination with her extensive experience. She values the interdisciplinary, service-oriented model practised at Physio-Care Services. Margaret was voted one of the Top Ten Physiotherapists in Hamilton by the Hamilton Spectator's Reader's Choice Awards for 2014 and 2015.

Richard has been focused on health, fitness and biology throughout his life. He enrolled in the Canadian Therapeutic College (CTC) to pursue a career in registered massage therapy. Upon graduation and after successful completion of the Ontario provincial board exams, he became a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) in 1999. Richard has spent his entire career working in a rehabilitation environment treating a wide variety of injuries and pain conditions. His expertise in rehabilitative therapy has come from advancing his palpation skills as well as collaboration with other health care providers. By incorporating soft tissue mobilization, trigger point therapy, reflexology, hydrotherapy and other modalities into his massages, he always tries to ensure the best treatment possible to get the maximum results.
Over his many years as a massage therapist he has learned to create an individualized program for each client’s needs. He has a special interest in resolving very difficult lower back, shoulder and neck problems. Realizing that massage therapy is an important part of a healthy lifestyle, Richard also seeks to create a peaceful and relaxing mood during treatment.
Dana graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in 1998, and has been a kinesiologist with the Physio-Care Services team since that time. Post-graduate interests have included functional ability testing, pre-employment screening, oncology rehabilitation, lumbar stabilization, chronic pain, balance re-training and various orthopedic courses. She enjoys integrating her skills and experience into the clinical setting to help a variety of patients regain and exceed their pre-injury levels.
Dana is responsible for program development and supervision of clients in Physio-Care Services' cancer rehabilitation program (CanSoar). She also has had extensive training with Fit to Work Testing, Drug and Alcohol Screening with certification from SureHire for pre-employment screening. Dana is a member in good standing with The College of Kinesiologists of Ontario and received a diamond award for kinesiologists voted by the Hamilton Spectator's Reader's Choice Awards for 2015.
